Director of Business Development

We are looking for a Director of Business Development to further drive our expansion globally, with the main focus on the United States. For this position, we are looking for someone who already has experience in (tech) B2B sales. This role will help our business development team to achieve the sales goals, bring structure in the way of working and unlock new opportunities.

What you will do
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and sourcing new clients, responding to inbound leads and expanding existing client relationships
  • Partner with Operations, Account Management & Marketing to ensure high client satisfaction
  • Become the client’s go-to person when it comes to Twitter Marketing Campaigns
  • Work with Twitter, agencies and other marketing partners to uncover new opportunities for Socialdatabase.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years in a quota carrying role in B2B sales, Tech Sales or Agency Sales
  • Strong team & interpersonal skills.
  • Strong aptitude/interest in data, technology, and learning
  • Self-starter and comfort with ambiguity - experience at high-growth startup preferred
  • Data driven and operationally focused mindset
  • Experience selling in the Marketing & Advertising industry a plus
  • Desire to dive into marketing technologies, learn and grow.
  • Eligible to legally work in the USA full-time without the need for visa-sponsorship.
